This may have been one of the most exciting races this year! Steve
seemed to walk away from the U-5 FormulaBoats, only to be run
down by David Bryant and the U-10! The U-10 looked awesome
as he chased down the U-6 and beat them by a hair!

*Jumped the gun, 1 lap penalty.
Villwock just didn't seem to have the boat under him today that
he's had all year. Theoret grabbed lane 1 before the start
and was able to hold onto it and go on to take the win! Congratulatons
on breaking the bad luck streak to the the U-37 team!

U-3 withdrew due to a large crack in one of the sponsons
U-9 withdrew after not being able to finish the repairs after
the flip
*U-37 hit buoy and had a lane enfraction against the U-16...apparently
disqualified due to both incidents.
The race was definitely a surprise! Oberto grabbed the
inside of both the U-16 Miss Elam & the U-37 Beacon Plumbing. The
start was good for all boats and Steve pushed the Oberto out
in front early. But much like the earlier Heat 2B, David
Bryant and the Hoss Mortgage U-10 we giving a good chase. Bryant
seemed to close the gap prior to running into slower traffic. It
appeared that both the U-25 & U-37 werw alpped by the 1st & 2nd
place boats!!
